Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By placing an order with DesignHer Bakery, you agree to these Terms.

 

Orders

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation. DesignHer Bakery reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion to maintain the integrity and quality of our offerings.

Unless otherwise arranged directly with the bakery owner (Alexis Haynes), all orders must be paid in full prior to pickup or delivery. This ensures we can prepare your order with the attention, ingredients, and precision it deserves.

 

Lead Times & Rush Orders

We understand that last-minute needs come up, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate!

 

Our standard lead times are:

• 5 days for Gourmet Cookies 
• 10 days for Gourmet Cupcakes
• 14 days for Custom Decorated Sugar Cookies & Pull-Apart Cakes

 

Rush Fee Breakdown:

• Gourmet cookies: 20% rush fee
  
• Gourmet cupcakes and pull-apart cupcakes: 20% rush fee
• Decorated Sugar Cookies: $20 per dozen rush fee

Please Note:

• Rush availability is not guaranteed and depends on current production and order volume 
• All expedited requests are first come, first served
• Rush fees reflect the additional time, materials, and scheduling adjustments required to fulfill your order without sacrificing quality

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Orders may be canceled with at least 5 days’ notice prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery date.

Deposits are non-refundable, but if canceled within the proper window, they may be applied as a store credit toward a future order.

Cancellations made with less than 5 days’ notice may result in full or partial forfeiture of your deposit or payment.

Once work has begun on your order (e.g., custom prep, baking, design work), all payments are non-refundable.

Orders not picked up on time, or abandoned without communication after completion, will be considered forfeited. No refunds or credits will be issued in these cases.

 

Pickup and Delivery

Pickup Address: The address will be provided the day before your scheduled pickup. We are located in the Fair Oaks Ranch area (ZIP code 78015).
Pickup Times: Limited to 10:30am - 3:30pm and 5:00pm - 7:00pm Please ensure timely pickup to avoid inconvenience.
Delivery: Available for orders over $250, with an additional cost based on mileage. Smaller orders must be picked up at our designated location.

 

Custom Orders

For custom orders, please provide detailed descriptions or reference images. Final designs may vary slightly due to the creative nature of our work.
We aim to bring your vision to life while incorporating creative freedom to exceed your expectations.

Each cookie is crafted using the finest ingredients, which we source from trusted vendors across different locations to ensure top-notch quality at the most competitive rates.

We don’t take this process lightly. Through extensive cost analysis, we meticulously calculate the price of every recipe to ensure our cookies and cupcakes are both reasonably priced for our customers and sustainable for our small business. This thoughtful approach allows us to offer you exceptional baked goods while keeping our prices fair and transparent.

Baking is our passion, and it brings us immense joy to create sweets that people love and share. Your support not only helps us grow but also allows us to continue crafting the cookies you adore without compromising on quality.

 

Allergen & Cottage Food Disclaimer

This food is made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Texas Department of State Health Services or any local health department.

Please note: We are not a nut-free or allergen-free home. All cookies and cupcakes contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. Some flavors may also include coconut, peanuts, soy, or tree nuts. While we do our best to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee allergen-free products. For customers with severe allergies, please order with caution.
